WOOF_PostType :: post( Mixed $id )

Returns:

  • WOOF_Post An object representing the post if it exists
  • WOOF_Silent An object for silent failure otherwise.

Retrieve a post object of this type for the given slug.

Note that this method forwards on to the WOOF::post method to retrieve the post, so the $id parameter can be a slug, ID, or even a WOOF_Post object.

Example:

Parameters:

  • Mixed $id

    Can be either:

    • a string post slug. e.g. “hello-world”
    • a database post id. e.g. 23
    • A WOOF_Post object representing the post (which simply returns itself).

Plugin Requirements

MasterPress requires a minimum of WordPress version 4.9, MySQL 5.6, and PHP version 5.6.20.

We also recommend that PHP is configured to use a memory limit of 64MB per request (128MB may be required for sites with higher complexity).

This plug-in is not compatible with the WordPress.com hosted service.
