WOOF_PostType :: archive_link( Arguments $args = array() )

Returns:

  • String A link to the post type archive page, or en empty string if the post type does not support an archive page.

An alias of the WOOF_PostType::link method, to retrieve HTML for a link (anchor) tag pointing at the archive page for this post type. If the post type is not setup to have an archive page, this will return an empty string. The plural label of the post type will be used as the default link text.

Parameters:

  • Arguments $args = array()

    An arguments string or array which accepts the following arguments:

    • text – String, the text to use in the link. The plural label of the post type is used by default
    • root_relative – Boolean, whether to make the link URL root_relative (excl the domain and protocol). default – false.

    You can also specify any other key-value pairs for HTML attributes you wish to include in the link tag (see example), noting that the href attribute is forced to be the URL of the post type archive page.

Plugin Requirements

MasterPress requires a minimum of WordPress version 4.9, MySQL 5.6, and PHP version 5.6.20.

We also recommend that PHP is configured to use a memory limit of 64MB per request (128MB may be required for sites with higher complexity).

This plug-in is not compatible with the WordPress.com hosted service.
