WOOF_Post :: edit_link( Arguments $args = array() )

Returns:

Retrieves the HTML for the link to edit this post in WordPress, using the title of the post as the default link text.

Note: this function will check if the current user can edit this post, and if not will return an empty string.

Example:

Parameters:

  • Arguments $args = array()

    An arguments string or array which accepts the following arguments:

    • text – String, the text to use in the link. The attachment title is used by default
    • root_relative – Boolean, whether to make the link URL root_relative (excl the domain and protocol). default – false.

    You can also specify any other key-value pairs for HTML attributes you wish to include in the link tag (see example), noting that the href attribute is forced to be the edit URL for the post.

Plugin Requirements

MasterPress requires a minimum of WordPress version 4.9, MySQL 5.6, and PHP version 5.6.20.

We also recommend that PHP is configured to use a memory limit of 64MB per request (128MB may be required for sites with higher complexity).

This plug-in is not compatible with the WordPress.com hosted service.
