WOOF :: top_latest( Integer $count = 1, Arguments $args = array() )

Returns:

A preset on the WOOF::posts method to retrieve a collection of the latest $count top level WOOF_Post objects.

Example:

Parameters:

  • Integer $count = 1

    The number of posts to retrieve.

  • Arguments $args = array()

    An arguments array or string, as used in the WordPress function get_posts, which uses the same defaults as that function, with the following changes:

    • orderby => “post_date”,
    • order => “desc”,
    • numberposts => $count (enforced)
    • post_parent => 0 (enforced)
    • post_type = any

    This can also be made to use query_posts instead of get_posts, by setting a “query” parameter to 1.
