WOOF_Comment :: date( String $format = null )

Returns:

  • String A formatted date, if format is provided.
  • Integer A timestamp of the date otherwise.

Gets the submission date of the comment. If the format parameter is provided this will return a formatted date according to this string, otherwise a timestamp representing the date is returned. 

The format string uses the same format as the PHP date function, with the same token extensions supported by the date_format.

Plugin Requirements

MasterPress requires a minimum of WordPress version 3.4, MySQL 5, and PHP version 5.2.4.

We also recommend that PHP is configured to use a memory limit of 64MB per request (128MB may be required for sites with higher complexity).

This plug-in is not compatible with the WordPress.com hosted service.
