WOOF_Collection :: eq( Integer $index )

Returns:

  • Mixed The item at the specified index
  • WOOF_Silent An object for silent failure, if the index is outside the bounds of the collection.

Retrieves the item at the specified index. This method also supports negative indexes, which will retrieve the nth-item backwards from the end of the collection (so -1 is the final item, -2 is the second last item, and so on).

Note: most collections in WOOF are zero-based (index 0 is the first element), with the exception of multi-item field set collections, which are 1-based to match the numbers displayed in the MasterPress UI. Please also refer to the WOOF_Collection::number method, which normalises indexes to be regarded as 1-based, regardless of the type of collection.

Example:

Parameters:

  • Integer $index

    The index of the item to retrieve.
