MEOW_FieldSetCollection :: has( String $name )

Returns:

  • MEOW_Field The field if it exists and has a value
  • Boolean false if the field is not available

Checks to see if this field set collection has a field by the given name, but also if that field has a value available, returning the field itself if it is available, or boolean false otherwise. This is the most readable way to conditionally output HTML that surrounds a field value.

Note: this method is most appropriate for field sets that allow single items. To check if a multi-item set has values present, you need to call the method on the object one level above (see related methods)

Parameters:

  • String $name
